Company / employer pack
- Original invitation letter from the Algerian host company Embassy. The VFS page adds that it is submitted in hard copy, attested by the Algerian Chamber of Commerce VFS
- Letter of undertaking on the Indian company’s letterhead, addressed to the Embassy of Algeria, Visa Section, B-6 Anand Niketan, New Delhi 110021, stating the purpose of the visit and the name and address of the host in Algeria. It must be signed by a company official other than the applicant Embassy VFS
- Visa fee paid in Indian rupees to “Embassy of Algeria in New Delhi”: by bank cheque Embassy or bank demand draft VFS
- One master itinerary so every traveller’s flights, hotels and dates match
Each traveller provides
- Original passport valid for at least six months, with at least one blank page Embassy

The two official pages describe the submission route differently
The Embassy page says applications are submitted in person in New Delhi. The VFS Global page publishes a service fee and indicative times for Delhi and “other locations in India”. We confirm how your travellers should file before we start.
Fees and processing times can change
Visa fees and processing times are set by the Algerian authorities and visa centres and change over time, so confirm the current figures before you pay. Visa decisions remain at the discretion of the relevant authority and no outcome can be guaranteed.
What commonly delays a team application
- Names, passport numbers or designations that differ between the company letter, invitation and passport
- Passports with under six months’ validity or no blank page, discovered late
- Itineraries and bookings that do not match the dates in the invitation
- Waiting for the host’s documents before starting the Indian-side pack
- An invitation letter that is not the original, or (per the VFS page) not attested by the Algerian Chamber of Commerce
- A letter of undertaking signed by the applicant instead of another company official
- A fee instrument made out wrongly: wrong payee, a travel agent as purchaser, or issued in a different month from submission
- Photographs that do not meet the specification: scanned and colour-photocopied photos are not accepted
