Choosing the right visa route for a company trip
The right category depends on what your people will actually do in Cameroon — meetings, a trade-fair visit, exhibiting, installation or a longer assignment — how long they stay, and whether a visa is required for their passport on the dates you travel. Entry rules change, so we confirm the current position with the official Cameroon source for your specific trip before we advise.
About this page
This page describes how BTW supports company teams. It does not reproduce Cameroon’s entry rules, fees or processing times, because those are set by the Cameroon authorities and change. We work from the official embassy, consulate, immigration authority or e-visa source for your travel dates and share the source with you in writing.
What the company prepares and what each traveller provides
Group files go wrong when the employer side and the traveller side are prepared separately. Use this split as a starting checklist; the exact list for Cameroon and for each traveller is confirmed by our team at enquiry.
Company / employer pack
- Covering letter on company letterhead: purpose of travel, dates, who bears the cost and each traveller’s designation
- Invitation or confirmation from the Cameroon host, partner or event organiser where the trip calls for one
- Company registration or incorporation proof where the file asks for it
- One master itinerary so every traveller’s flights, hotels and dates match
Each traveller provides
- Passport with sufficient validity and blank pages
- Completed application form and photograph to the stated specification
- Travel and accommodation bookings, or the itinerary the authority asks for
- Any employee-specific documents requested for the visa category
How BTW coordinates a team application
Enquiry
Share the destination, purpose of travel, expected dates and the number of travellers.
Requirements review
We confirm the relevant visa route and the document checklist for the group against the official source.
Document preparation
We guide your team through collection and review documents for completeness and consistency across travellers.
Submission support
Application preparation, appointment coordination (subject to availability) and submission procedures as applicable.
Status updates
Your designated coordinator receives updates as applications progress.
Timing, fees and processing
Start as early as your travel plan allows. The company letters, invitations and appointment availability usually take longer than the application itself, and a group moves at the pace of its slowest file.
Fees and processing times
Visa fees and processing times are set by the issuing authorities and visa centres and change over time, so this page does not quote figures. Visa decisions remain at the discretion of the relevant authority and no outcome can be guaranteed.
What commonly delays a team application
- Names, passport numbers or designations that differ between the company letter, invitation and passport
- Passports with too little validity or too few blank pages discovered late
- Itineraries and bookings that do not match the dates in the invitation
- Waiting for the host’s documents before starting the Indian-side pack
