Albania Business Visa Requirements

A Guide for Indian Citizens

Processing: 10-15 days

Stay: Up to 30 days

Type C Visa

Overview

If you are an Indian entrepreneur, investor, or professional planning to attend business meetings, explore investment opportunities, or establish trade partnerships in Albania, you’ll need a Short-Stay Albania Business Visa (Visa Type “C”).

This visa allows short-term business activities such as attending conferences, negotiating contracts, or meeting Albanian partners — but it does not allow employment or paid work.
Albania, a growing hub for trade and investment in the Balkans, offers expanding opportunities in energy, tourism, IT, and infrastructure.

You can apply online through the official Electronic Visa (e-Visa) portal: https://e-visa.al/

Albania Visa: Application & Processing Tips

Visa Requirement

Indian nationals are typically required to obtain a visa to enter Albania, which is processed through the Albania e-Visa portal.

Submit your application well in advance to accommodate the 15-30 working day processing window and any potential high-volume delays.

The typical evaluation period for an e-Visa is 15 working days from the day payment is confirmed. In exceptional cases, this can extend up to 30 working days.

Application is done entirely online. The e-Visa system will notify you of the decision via email, and you can generally track your application status on the portal using your details.

Eligibility Criteria for Albania Business Visa

To qualify for an Albania Business Visa, Indian citizens must meet the following requirements:

Genuine Purpose

The visit must be for legitimate business activities such as meetings, trade fairs, or partnership discussions.

You must have enough funds to cover travel, accommodation, and living expenses.

Strong Home Ties

You must show sufficient reasons to return to India, such as employment, business ownership, or family commitments.

Good Character

Applicants must not have any criminal record. A Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) may be requested.

Health Requirements

Application Tips

Keep all documents neatly arranged and labelled.

The Embassy may call for a personal interview or extra documents.
