Laos Business Visa Requirements

A Guide for Indian Citizens

Processing: 5–7 days

Stay: Up to 30 days

Single-Entry or Multiple-Entry Business Visa

Overview

Indian nationals traveling to Laos for business purposes — including meetings, trade conferences, investment exploration, or corporate collaborations — must apply for a Laos Business Visa before their trip.

This visa allows short-term business visits, typically valid for 30 days and extendable in Laos for longer engagements. Indian travelers can apply through the Embassy of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic in New Delhi, or online via the official Laos eVisa portal if eligible.

Laos offers a rapidly growing business environment, particularly in the fields of tourism, hydropower, and trade — making it a favorable destination for Indian entrepreneurs and corporates.
