Please follow these steps to complete your identity verification:

  2. Keep Ready: Your valid passport and biometric letter with a VLN starting with AUI.
  3. Open the App: Enter your VLN.
  4. Scan Passport: Scan your passport details page and chip.
  5. Take Photo: Take your face photo in front of a plain, light-coloured wall.
  6. Submit: Check your details and submit your application.

Important

  1. Enable your phone’s camera, NFC and location services.
  2. After submission, check that the app confirms successful submission.
  3. Your ImmiAccount should update within 24 hours.
  4. If your VLN does not start with AUI, you must visit an Australian Biometrics Collection Centre (ABCC).
  5. Once completed, please inform us.
